Lake Claire Community Land Trust Meadow

The Lake Claire Community Land Trust, Trees Atlanta, and many volunteers worked to replace a steep hillside of shrubby invasives and debris with native trees, shrubs, and a pollinator meadow.  Fronting DeKalb Avenue, the south-facing hill now includes such plants as redbud, Chickasaw plum, sumac, little bluestem, purple lovegrass, purple coneflower, boneset, mountain mint, and more.
