Grant Park Woodland Opening

The loss of a huge shade tree created an opening in an existing woodland garden. Rather than try to replace the tree, we replaced it with a glade of young trees–beech, white oak, and tulip poplar–underplanting with native grasses and wildflowers to create a pollinator meadow for beauty and biodiversity.
